Sleeping Bear Hideaway is tucked away in a small mountainside community with 11 other cabins. The roads are paved, winter friendly and easy to navigate. Fishing Pond: Community catch and release fishing pond within walking distance to the cabin.
Getting There/Location Activities
The Area: Be prepared, these mountain roads be winding…relax and enjoy the scenery. Many top attractions are spread out, meaning you’ll spend significant time in your car. The park’s beauty is undeniable, but navigating it can be challenging for first-time visitors. Also, remember there is no cell service within the park, so come armed with maps and screenshots to guide you. WEARS VALLEY: 2.4 miles PIGEON FORGE: 5.3 miles BLACK RIFLE COFFEE: 5.4 miles THE ISLAND AMUSEMENT PARK: 5.6 miles TANGER OUTLET MALL: 7.6 miles DOLLYWOOD: 10 miles GATLINBURG: 14 miles SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK (Sugarland’s Visitor Center Entrance): 16.8 miles CADES COVE (Scenic Loop): 24 miles. Cade’s Cove loop spans 10.6 miles and can be driven, biked (with rentals available at the start), or run.
